Appropriate??

What is appropriate clothing?

Is it made by society?

If so, then why do people living in the same country have different versions of it?

Is it made by the government? No way...we are a democratic nation.

Is it made by you......??   ABSOLUTELY!!!

But do you have rights over it??.....

How many times have we come over people calling others a s**t or a b***h because of what they wear?

Now, we don't have to inflict that on ourselves...do we?

We apparently have do defend ourselves from the nasty elements of society by restricting our movement and behaving like " good girls ".

And not by learning how to fend them off, but by learning how to hide from them and hoping they won't find us.

And if they do ......it's somehow our fault that we appeared ridiculously irresistible.

The only way to be truly confident with wearing what we want for the vast majority of us is "acceptance".....and that seems to be a faraway place.

But all acceptances have come from breaking the rules.

The only thing to be conscious of is to be sure that we are doing what WE think is right for US.

The hater's gonna say crap regardless of what we do....
