Fight

"It takes monsters to steal souls and fighters to reclaim them."
This is something I heard in a ted talk by Rupi Kaur. And I just wondered...there isn't a more true statement.
Stealing souls is something that only monsters will...and can do. And monsters are rampant. Their one favourite thing is to claw at people's souls...they create the broken. The broken hide in plain sight. They're often that friend who laughs at that lame joke, the ones who are helping others, the ones who relentlessly work hard for a cause. They are forged in fire. They know the value of a soul. Broken souls are often hard to identify just because of their unrelenting desire to not let the world know that they are broken. Nobody wants to be treated like a cripple. Nobody wants others to define them for their past.

The fighters know the value of their minds, they know that no matter how broken they are, there are still things they do. Changing the world happens one step at a time. And they know that all it took was one slash to rip them apart but a million stitches to sew them back together, years to heal wounds. And they know that the world works that way, that nothing happens in an instant. And they know how important it is to heal.

And they shall persevere.

For they are the warriors.
