Every beginning is but a start to the end 

what was once straight has now begun to bend 

when her eyes first open the countdown starts

as the seconds tick till the cease of her heart 

the world as we know it will come to a close 

with every bud that blooms there dies a rose

with every waking hour comes the cry of sleep 

with every laugh comes the time to weep 

things are thrown and things are made 

with every hello a goodbye is bade 

with every inclination there comes descent

with every beginning comes an end
